SLHS Counseling Department Mission and Vision

American School Counselor Association

Counselors are available for personal, social, and academic support.

Services include high school and post secondary planning, career exploration, and group and individual counseling. Counselors are also available for parent consultation. Appointments are appreciated.
The SLHS Counselors follow the American School Counselor Association Comprehensive Counseling Guidelines, and support the goals of the District's Strategic Plan.

Individual Career and Academic Plan (ICAP)

This is a very important process to help all students make the most of high school and carefully plan for their future. Each student must complete the tasks assigned to them each year.

College Credit while in High School

                   
Standley Lake High School is continuing to develop partnerships 
and increase the opportunities available for students to earn college credit while in high school.  

For the 2018-19 School Year, we will be offering college credit for:  
English 12-Composition for the College Bound, French 3 and Pre-Calculus.
